Upgrade WhatsApp Tier Limit
Meta limits how many different people your number can start conversations with in 24 hours — the messaging tier. It rises automatically as you send good-quality messages; here's how to get there faster.

See where you are
The top of Broadcast Campaigns shows your number's quality rating and current tier (e.g. 1K, 10K, 100K a day) with today's usage.

Verify your business
Complete Business Verification in Meta Business Settings → Security Center. Unverified businesses are held at the lowest tier.

Keep quality Green
Send to people who opted in, keep messages relevant, include the unsubscribe footer, and don't message the same person twice a day. Blocks and reports lower your quality rating, and Meta won't raise the tier while it's Yellow or Red.

Use what you have
Meta raises the tier when you've been messaging close to your current limit with good quality — typically reaching at least half of it within 7 days. Sending regularly is what moves you up.

Let the app protect you meanwhile
A broadcast bigger than today's allowance doesn't fail — it sends up to the limit and carries on automatically as the 24-hour window frees up.
Good to know
- Replies to customers who messaged you first don't count toward the tier.
- If quality turns Red, broadcasts pause and you're told why. Give it a few days of fewer, more relevant messages.
