Import upto 2 lakh contacts in one go

Bring your whole customer list in from a CSV — up to 2,00,000 contacts in one file — with names, tags and custom fields, ready to segment and broadcast to.

   Prepare the file

   One contact per row, with a phone column (with country code, e.g. 919876543210 or +91 98765 43210). Optional columns: name, email, company, city, country, industry, tags, birthday — and any of your own.

   Open the import

   WhatsApp Automation → Contacts → Import, and choose the file. Columns with standard names are recognised automatically.

   Map your own columns

   Columns that aren't standard (e.g. “Course”) can be mapped to a custom field, so they can fill {{1}}, {{2}} in campaigns later.

   Choose what happens to existing contacts

   “Update their details” fills in new details for numbers you already have; “Skip them” leaves them as they are. Duplicate numbers in the file are imported once.

   Import

   Click Import. Large files go in batches with a progress bar — keep the tab open until it says Import complete, with how many were added, updated, skipped and invalid.
